&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Munich Airport has installed six InfoGates in the public and non-public areas of Terminal 2 that allow passengers to instantly start a videoconference with an information service agent at the touch of a button.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;The InfoGate counters have already been successfully installed in Terminal 1 and will now provide quality information in areas of Terminal 2 that previously had no information service coverage.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;In addition to the devices offering individual service, airport visitors can also use the 10 new interactive InfoGate pillars. Via touchscreen, users can access a range of information on services, shopping and dining at the airport.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;The information pillars also display a computer-animated airport map to show the quickest route to a gate, shop or restaurant and the system computes the distance and the estimated walking time to the indicated destination (gate, shop, etc.).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Following the successful launch of this technology, which Munich Airport developed in-house, the concept is now beginning to arouse great interest from airports in other countries. The new 100% subsidiary established in the spring of this year – InfoGate Seite 1 von 2 Information Systems GmbH – is marketing the system worldwide.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Next time you saunter down an airport walkway, you may have the opportunity to deliver the mail with a CG dog named &amp;#8220;Bullseye&amp;#8221; or open doors to glimpse the unusual goings on in four Marriott Hotel rooms.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Both interactive installations are the creations of digital media studio &lt;a href="http://www.dexigner.com/directory/detail/5258.html"&gt;Tronic&lt;/a&gt; for Xerox&amp;#8217;s new global &amp;#8220;Ready for Real Business&amp;#8221; advertising campaign.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;In partnership with agency Y&amp;amp;R New York, Tronic designed and produced two interactive CG / live-action productions, one of which features Target, the other Marriott Hotels, for the Xerox business-to-business campaign, which launched in September. The two productions run in rotation on life-sized, nine-screen interactive video displays at Atlanta, Denver, Los Angeles and six other airports.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;#8220;We&amp;#8217;re quite pleased to have been selected to design and produce this interactive out-of-home installation in this high-profile campaign,&amp;#8221; said Tronic EP Brian Camp. &amp;#8220;The creative freedom we had enabled us to bring new elements of game play to the airport environment to deliver brand messaging in more interactive and engaging ways,&amp;#8221; added co-founder Vivian Rosenthal.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Tronic is known for their blending of the digital and physical, and this project offered a unique opportunity to create a new kind of advertising that mixed gesture based technology with commercials and gaming to create interactive storytelling. No longer is it as passive viewing experience, suddenly you can disrupt and interactive with a commercial and it&amp;#8217;s actually fun, it transforms into a game.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Aquarium gives guests the chance to create and thoroughly customize their own virtual pet fish. Two touch consoles, located at each end of the giant virtual aquarium, comprised of fifteen 40” monitors, invite shoppers to customize their pets. Guests use the touch screens to create their new friend from scratch – they decide on the shape and color of its body, eyes, stripes or spots. The variables available enable guests to create up to 30.000 distinct creatures, so the risk that any two will be identical is minimal! After determining what their new pet will look like, guests get to name it and release it into the Virtual World.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Creating their new pet fish is only half the fun; to make sure they grow into happy, healthy friends, the creatures need to be fed and visited, a task that can only be accomplished by checking in at the touch consoles where the aquarium is located&lt;em&gt;.&lt;/em&gt; The more you visit your virtual pet, the bigger and happier it grows, and the more you are able to further customize it by adding new features. In addition, a dedicated website is also available so that guests can regularly check up on their pets from home to see how it’s doing.&lt;/p&gt;
